Doctors Without Borders - Five Actions, One WorldDoctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people whose survival is threatened by violence, negligence, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, natural disasters, and exclusion from health care in more than 60 countries.

In emergencies and their aftermath, Doctors Without Borders provides essential health care, rehabilitates and runs hospitals and clinics, performs surgery, battles epidemics, carries out vaccination campaigns, operates feeding programs for malnourished children, and offers mental health care. The organization strives to provide high-quality care to patients in resource-limited settings, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation.
